Norling Earthquake Orphans Fund

by Lai SW on July 3, 2010

Hope that you have noticed I occasionally mention Yushu. If you see the left side of your screen, you will notice the picture of some stones with exquisite motifs on them. They are Zees which are replicas of the famous Zees of Tibet.

There are many stories about zees. Some stories claim that they are mystical celestial worms that appear to fortunate ones and bestow upon them great luck and fortune. Another story says that they are ornaments of celestial beings called devas who possess fine bodies and forms. These Zees were those that fell to earth and are very treasured possessions bringing the owner great blessings and protection.

My reason for putting them here is to highlight the plight of the victims of the Yushu earthquake. Friends have raised funds to help and as an ongoing effort to assist, online shop HimalayaHearts.com are chipping in to help.  With  some products, 100% of sales price goes towards the funds.

I encourage all to lend a hand. It is said that life is not defined by how many breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.

Water in Feng Shui – a Case Study

Let’ see whether we can illustrate this principle.

This housing estate, to the common eye, is in a lovely location. It sits by the beach and palm trees sway gently in the sea breeze. With the lapping of the morning waves and the glow of the evening sunset, it is picture perfect! It has all the qualities, a great place for the ideal dream home.

True success covers all bases. Everything has to be there before success is complete. There has to be [...]
