A good reason to Learn Feng Shui?

Looking back through the years of practicing feng shui, it seems like a long journey. But then, it has been very worthwhile.

I do not really know how it all began but I do remember a keen interest in unexplained things, you know, ghosts, the undead, Lobsang Rampa, magic especially black magic, occult, tarot, the lot. When friends were studying hard, I would be doing something else. No wonder, school was just about scraping through and burning midnight oils around exam time. It eventually led to me paying for lessons. But like I said, it had all been worth it.

Of all the many aspects that are intertwined with fengshui like astrology, medicine, magic etc I leaned towards fengshui. If I ask myself why, and I gave the same reason many a time that I have been asked. It is this. Rightly or not very cleverly, I argued that astrology and palmistry were too fatalistic. There are, as claimed, remedies and such to change things for the better but it is never as direct and as “take it by the horns” as fengshui.

I still do encourage others to take up this study. We may never get to know all there is to know but in the process, it opens up our minds to things possible. It leads us along the path of more asking and learning. Inescapably, it leads us to the unknown and spiritual. If for just these two reason alone, I argue that it will be all worth it. So, friends, there is nothing to only gain in learning fengshui (or any other of the associated sciences). We may find Magic.

In fact, there are many fengshui masters who eventually progressed and took on a way of life that is dedicated towards the path of spiritual attainment. They see a deeper meaning to the mundaneness of human life. That says something.
