My apartment is on the 4th floor of a lowrise condominium which has two highrise blocks on a slope directly behind my unit. Is this considered good or not so good? There is a small road infront of the condominium and directly infront are a row of bungalows. I have unobstructed view from my balcony overlooking the KL skyline.

From the way you describe it, seems great. I would only add to what I commented earlier. A house facing a hill to the east is nothing to worry about. Of course there are other qualifications but from what is on paper here, there is nothing unfavorable.

Hi Lai,
Thks for ur reply. House in front is a quiet two lane road leading to back three rows of houses and in front ample space for parking, the distance is about 50 ft away from my house gate. The hill is small and properly terraced with step walkway in between layer going up to the playground. There are trees on the hill terrace, it provides a greenery view for my house front facing without any obstruction and on the upper floors the views of green is more obvious with the lighting in the playground and hill lamp light. This is a small gated community with open concept contemporary houses, the no of houses is 120 units comprising of s/d and bungalow only, environment is quiet, exclusive and secure peaceful .Pls comment. Thks

Hi Mike,
As a general rule, facing east with slope is not a bad thing. Factors that will come into play are the distance of the sloping hill from your house. I presume from your description (and my imagination) that it is reasonably near. If that is the case it is a good thing especially so if there are healthy trees taller than your home. There are factors like layout of your community etc so I can't comment more without becoming dangerously presumptuous.

Can u comment on my house (left side is road leading to houses at the back and right side is house) facing a small sloping hill with playground on top and the small hill is slightly higher than the ground and first floor of my house , but generally the seconf floor of my house is equally same height of the sloping playground. My house is facing exactly east, gated housing scheme and not at dead end or cul de sec road. Pls comment on facing hill is good ?
