If there is one star that is most welcomed in our horoscope, it is the ‘heavenly eminence’ (Tian Yi Gui Ren).
What is foretold for us if we are so lucky as to have the heavenly eminence in our charts? For a start, we can expect that we will find many helpful people in the course of our career and life. This is what this star does. In a sort of way, you can say that it is a guardian angel. There will always be good samaritans who will appear to help you in your time of need. Isn’t that nice?
When someone receives unexpected help, she is said to have Gui Ren. When your supervisor recommends you highly to your boss, your supervisor is in a way your Gui Ren. When someone speaks highly of you to another, he is your Gui Ren.
This heavenly eminence is the silver lining in every cloud. You are sure to have come across some blessed people who seem to have smooth sailing every corner they turn. How do you know if you have the heavenly eminence in your birth chart? The heavenly eminence is found from the day you were born. The Chinese lunar calendar system is based on a repetitive 60 day cycle. Each day is made up of two characters called the branch-stem. It is these characters that are used to determine whether the heavenly eminence is present in your life.
It is quite easy if you have access to a Chinese lunar almanac but if you don’t, I will work on a few simple charts in coming posts. In fact, what I am thinking is to provide charts that will help us find our eight characters.
(The Eight Characters Divination has a long history. Among the early masters are great names like Jin Guo Pu of Book of Burial fame. But the most outstanding contributor is Li Xu Zhong who lived 761-813ad. He brought astrology and the eight characters to a whole new level.
Every astrologer has his favorite method and the use of stars is but one of them. How accurate each method of prediction or divination is depends on the skill and experience of the practitioner.
Astrology, like all metaphysical arts are subjective in nature. It is better not to be superstitious for the most benefit is derived when knowledge is used in a positive wise way.)
