There are different levels to looking at the He Tu. To say that it starts from the center is one perspective. To say that energy starts from the center is one way of putting it but not accurate. Importantly, as I mentioned, the He Tu is to be taken as a framework and contemplations of the natural laws taken from there.

He Tu shows the principle of center and perimeters. Once a center is present, then the perimeter forms. There, that will tell you where metal comes from. But remember that metal is only a conventional label and there are other ways of viewing that label.

He Tu in flying star method?....

And so...My question to you is - I have learned that the energy starts from the center and works out towards 4/9 metal - then to 1/6 water, 3/8 wood, 2/7 fire back to 5/10 earth. In your description you have 5/10 earth moving to 1/6 water - perhaps the water tables filling the earth BUT wondering then what is forming the metal???

When looking at hetu triggers in flying star method - there is a statement about waxing energy of metal in the north & peaking in west and NW for benefits. Hmm. A bit confusing how metal is waxing in the north. Your persepective???
Thanks
