A young man asked me what he should do since he is a tiger year born. If popular feng shui belief is to be followed, then those born in the tiger years are said to be crossing the Tai Sui year. And they say it is not good. Please do not believe this.
Let me pick a few prognosis and advice from popular booklets. (If you notice, they proliferate comes this time of the year. Credit is given to them for they mostly contain sound general advice).

5 General Advice
This year may be fraught with not favored stars like white tiger, do not worry too much as there are also many lucky stars to light your way through the year. These lucky stars will turn worries to happiness. You will see the silver lining in the clouds.
In fording new ventures, investment s and gambling, caution is the word.
Watch your temper this year. There will be some misunderstanding, maintain your composure and all will be well in the end.
