I just finished reading a forwarded mail about the reason why it is generally safer to eat leafy vegetables as opposed to the beans and gourds. The reason is that gourds and beans are produce which are harvested continuously and chemicals are used in between harvests. There may not be enough time between these harvest intervals for the chemicals to break down thus making them likelier to be laced with chemicals than the leafy vegetables.

What has this got to do with feng shui?
For feng shui, I often wondered why I care so much about finding out why this is such and that is so. Reading the vegetable article helped answered the question. When we know the reason behind what we are doing, we do it wisely. We are able to adjust and modify and hopefully improve on them.
I hope this makes sense.
